The Hwamyeong branch in western Busan is a medium capacity institute in an area with a lot of competing schools. It is lively and vibrant at night with many famous restaurants and modern conveniences nearby, such as bath houses, internet cafes and department stores. Hwamyeong is also generally agreed to be one of the best looking branches, with very modern decor and a spacious interior design.

Hi, I am Chris, the HI at the CDI April English branch in Hwamyeong. We have a good team and working environment here in Hwamyeong. Our staff are friendly and get along well and we are lucky to have a pretty smoothly run branch. We have recently moved down the road from the CDI branch into our own brand new academy. Hwamyeong is not as central as many other branches, but it does have other advantages, especially if you enjoy getting out of the city and into nature. There is plenty to see and do as Hwamyeong is not short on amenities, in terms of bars and restaurants. If you do want to meet up with everyone else, then public transport can get you to most of the hotspots in around 30~45 minutes. Hwamyeong has a large foreign population so it’s also easy to make friends on your doorstep and it’s close to the airport and the Gupo train station (KTX) if you like to travel.
